Over the past two months police have been targeting bad behaviour with a designated 'no drinking zone' in Falmouth.

Cornwall's police force has the highest number of traffic officers in the country outside London, according to a new study which has found their numbers nationally have dropped by a third in a decade.
According to data obtained under Freedom of Information laws, the number of dedicated road traffic officers (RTO) on the Devon and Cornwall force is 197.

An NHS expansion plan for mental health services will see thousands of new posts created, the Government has said.
Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt said the aim was to treat an extra one million people by 2021 under one of the biggest boosts to mental care in Europe.
However, the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) questioned whether enough people could be trained in such time, and if there were the resources to do so.

Firefighters have urged homeowners to make sure their washing machine is safe after attending one that had burst into flames
One fire engine from Penzance Community Fire Station attended to a call reporting a washing machine on fire at Adelaide Street in the town.
The crew arrived just after 10am today used the thermal image camera, two breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet to extinguish the blaze.

M5 delays for drivers in South West after South West ambulance...
Drivers were left facing long delays on the M5 after a South West Ambulance Service vehicle burst into flames.
All of the lanes were closed between Junction 21 and Junction 20 but have since re-opened between the junctions for Weston-Super-Mare and Clevedon.
There were delays of up to two-and-a-half hours, according to Highways England.

Cornwall's most westerly visitor attraction has spoken of its outrage after a video emerged on social media in which a visitor is seen to go into a paddock and ride a partially sighted pony bareback.
The woman was said to have "irresponsibly" entered the paddock at Greeb Farm, part of the array of attractions at Land's End.
She then climbs on top of tiny Shetland pony Thorn and attempts to ride him.

Coverack flash floods - Cornwall Live appeal passes halfway point
The appeal launched in the wake of the flash floods which engulfed Coverack has surged past the halfway mark in less than two weeks.
Cornwall Live organised the Just Giving appeal to help the victims of the torrential floods which swept through the picturesque community on July 18.
Today, not even a fortnight later, the appeal has reached £5,400 - some 54% of the £10,000 goal.

Alec Millgate, 32, has been missing from Barnstaple since the evening of Friday, July 28.
