A man has been rescued from the sea after he fell overboard from his own boat today. The incident happened at Port Isaac this morning. The village's RNLI lifeboat station was notified and the lifeboat was launched to pick him up. It is not clear how he ended up in the water. Three men have been sentenced for their roles in the "ferocious" killing of a drunken man who was lured to a St Austell park where he was subjected to a frenzied knife attack. Teen pregnancy rates in Cornwall have fallen to their lowest level, with half the number of young girls having babies than five years ago.
