Yacht towed back to St Mary's by Isles of Scilly RNLI lifeboat...
A yacht had to be towed back to port by RNLI volunteers after suffering from engine failure off the Isles of Scilly.
The St Mary's RNLI Lifeboat station was called out tot he incident after the single-handed yacht broke down 17nm out north west of the islands.
A spokesman for the St Mary's RNLI lifeboat station said: "We were paged at 4.30pm on Thursday, June 22.

Virgin Media customers urged to change wifi and router passwords...
More than 800,000 broadband customers are being urged to change their passwords immediately over security concerns.
Virgin Media said the risk to customers with a Super Hub 2 router was "small", but advised them to change both their network and router passwords if they were still set as the default shown on the attached sticker.

A garage located on the A30 near Bodmin is going under because of the roadworks and Cornwall Council won't help, its owner has claimed.
Penlan garage has been seeing a dramatic drop in its sales for the past two weeks, its owner Tanya Jey said.

A team of 16 firefighters was called to rescue a pony which was stuck in a hedge near Camborne.
A crew on three appliances attended the incident at Carn Entral Farm at around 9am on Thursday (June 22).
On arrival they were tasked with rescuing a pony which was entangled in thick brambles between a hedge and a wall.

This was the scene on a busy road in Par on Thursday afternoon after a large haulage lorry got stuck while attempting to take a tight corner.
The lorry was carrying a JCB when the driver realised he wouldn't be able to manoeuvre his vehicle around the corner under the railway bridge close to the docks on Harbour/Par Moor Road.

A woman and her children were left startled after a naked man chased them down a street in Padstow.
The woman called police at around 5pm on Monday (June 19), reporting that a man wearing only a backpack came out of a churchyard as she was walking along Church Lane with her children.

Lloyds Bank has closed five of its branches across Cornwall this month claiming a dwindling number of face-to-face customers.
