An amazing video taken from St Agnes Head on Cornwall's north coast has captured the rare sight of what is believed to be a whirling waterspout, spiralling down from the clouds to the sea.
The striking phenomena was spotted by avid wildlife watcher Ian Boreham from Newquay who was out enjoying a walk along the cliff tops when he saw the tornado looking formation heading towards the coast.

Manchester terror attack - Newquay teen who went to concert says...
A Newquay teenager has described the moment she and her father found themselves caught up in the Manchester terror attack.
Roni Elliott, 15, and her father Jamie were leaving the Manchester Arena on Monday night when Mancunian Salman Abedi detonated a homemade bomb in the foyer following a concert by American singer Ariana Grande.
Roni has been left shaken by the incident and described how it has changed her life.

Police and scenes of crime officers have mounted an investigation at St Ives.
Uniformed officers and personnel in white suits with blue gloves are at the scene at Nancledra, on the road to Penzance. Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service is also said to be there.
It is understood the operation relates to a silver car which has been covered in a tarpaulin and that police have been there for a couple of hours. The scene is in a car park near old mining buildings near the Engine Inn.

A man has died following an incident in which he was tasered by police.
Reports last night said he was "slashing himself" with a knife in Falmouth.
The police have just issued a statement after the incident was referred to the Independent Police Complaints Commission.
He was thought to be walking around with a knife, prompting Langton Road to be closed off by police.

A man has been remanded in custody after appearing in court charged with the murder of a missing 32-year-old woman from Marazion.
Dean Nigel Lowe, 32, of St Elmo, Marazion, is accused of murdering Kirsty Noden, also known as Kirby, who has not been seen since January this year.
Ms Noden, who was living in Marazion, was originally treated as a high-risk missing person after friends and relatives raised concerns for her welfare on Thursday, May 18.

Falmouth Hospital inpatient ward reopens four months later than...
It is four months later than scheduled, but Falmouth Hospital has finally reopened its inpatient ward.
It follows extensive refurbishment at the site, but delays in the work resulted in the ward staying shut twice as long as planned.
The 24-bed Boscawen ward moved to Longreach House near Camborne and Redruth Community Hospital in October and scheduled to return in January.

A seagull that was trapped in netting on the roof of a building in Polruan, has been driven 110 miles for rehabilitation and a man has claimed it will be driven back to Cornwall to be released.
