Councillor Bennett reported that he had attended a meeting with the Harbourmaster and
others regarding a proposal for a ‘harbour taxi’ from North Quay, Hayle to St Ives and
possibly to Lelant Quay too. It had been considered that the harbour taxi would be a fun
activity for local people who might want a boat ride over and a walk/bus ride back to Hayle.

The mobile library stops at Angarrack every fourth Friday (on the Week 2 timetable) - at the Angarrack Inn car park

The mobile library provides a library service to rural areas in Cornwall where there is no static library or micro library. The mobile library holds a selection of books on many subjects, novels, large print books, books for children and talking books. Other materials, such as DVDs, music CDs and music scores can be borrowed on request. Customers can request books for free from the online library catalogue or for a small charge if placed by a Library Assistant. The stock is updated regularly.
Week 2 timetable (January 2019 to May 2019)
includes Tresowes, Breage, Porthleven, Nancegollan, Crowan, Black Rock, Bolenowe, Carnkie(Redruth), Portreath, Lizard, Ruan Minor, Ponsongath, Coverack, Rosenithen, St Keverne, Porthallow, Tregarne, Gillan, Manaccan, St Martin, Newlyn, Lamorna, St.Buryan, Treen, Sennen, Crows an Wra, Pendeen, Zennor, Newmill, Long Rock, Lelant, Nancledra, Ludgvan, Marazion, Rosudgeon, Germoe, Relubbus, St.Erth, Gwinear and Angarrack.
