Christmas Lights AGM 2026

The Lights went off on Monday Sth January, and we need your help so the lights will hopefully be back on in December 2026.

Our AGM will be held on 9th of March, 8pm in the Community Centre when we have to elect a Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer, Secretary and anew committee.

We need new members for the lights to continue so please consider joining as, without more help and new committee members, there is a huge possibility that the lights may not continue.

If you are interested and can help us in any way, please email secretary@angarrack.info 

We have to start a major refurbishment programme and will only be able to continue if we get support from the village.  read more »

Flower Arranging Workshop with help and advice when needed. Please bring along a container, foliage, flowers, baubles etc. Floral foam, accessories etc will be available to purchase on both afternoons.

Last chance to respond to 'Opinions sought on Cornwall's public rights of way' Cornwall Council survey

People are being asked to share their thoughts about Cornwall's footpaths, bridleways and byways.

Cornwall Council wants feedback to help shape its Rights of Way Improvement Plan to preserve and improve the 2,796 mile (4,500km) network over the next 10 years.

The survey asks what journeys people take using public rights of way and if there are any barriers preventing access to them.

Residents, businesses and visitors are invited to take part in the survey which closes on 28 September.

Did you know you have until 09th January 2025 to express your views aboutThe Cornwall Council (Off Street Parking Places) Order 2025 - amongst other things to remove a number of these car parks from the order to be leased and operated as a Car Park by a third party organisation

Your local policing team is holding a public surgery. This will take place on Thursday 5th December 2024 at Marks and Spencer, West Cornwall Retail Park, Marsh Lane, Hayle between the hours of 1-3pm.

Please come along as this is your opportunity to speak with your local officers to discuss any issues of concern to you.

If you are unable to attend this meeting but wish to speak to us about an issue, please call 101 or make contact via the Devon & Cornwall Police website.
