This year's Flora Day celebrations were enjoyed around the world. The annual dress-up and dance in the streets extravanganza at Helston was said to have been attended by more than 10,000 people.
Huge crowds gathered to watch townsfolk dance through the town in the morning and midday dances, as well as the adorable children's dance, and many lasted until the evening dance. Police need your help to find missing Phillip Bray from...
Police are appealing for help to find a missing man who they believe may be in Cornwall. Derbyshire police said that Phillip Bray has not been seen for five days and may be in the Leicestershire area or could have travelled to Cornwall.
They are asking people to share this appeal on Facebook to try to locate him.
Mr Bray, 46, was last seen by a member of his family at his home in Millford, Derbyshire, on Tuesday (May 2) at 1.30pm. He is 5ft 11in with dark brown short hair.

A mum from Cornwall who was badly injured when a shop sign fell on her and her son in strong winds is in line for a High Court damages payout which could top £200,000.
Petula Chapman, 61, was knocked unconscious and fractured bones all over her body when she was struck by the sign in May 2014. She had been in the Euronics Store in Penarth, south Wales, when the large store front hoarding came free.

The Flora Day celebrations had a bit of drama as firefighters were called out to secure the roof of a shop along the procession route in Helston. The area around Sweet Pea Florist was cordoned off as the crews used a ladder to secure part of the roof amid fears it could fall into the street with huge crowds in the town.

According to voting figures for the 2017 Cornwall Council (CC) elections, voting saw a 5.05% increase compared with the last poll in 2013.
In Cornwall, an average of just 33% of residents headed to a voting booth in 2013 to elect their next councillors.
While this year, figures released at Carn Brea revealed that the average turnout this year was 39% - that might still seem low, but it's actually up by 5.05% in 2013.
