Police are appealing for help finding a missing man who fled Royal Cornwall Hospital in a cut up pair of jeans this morning. Concern is growing for the male believed to be called Mark Harris aged 49, who attended Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro for treatment and has left prior to being fully treated. The Tamar Bridge was closed by police during the early hours of this morning following reports that someone was at risk of falling. A jury trying a company boss over the deaths of a Cornish man and three other people on board the Cheeki Rafiki yacht has been discharged after failing to reach verdicts on manslaughter charges. More than £10,000 has been raised for a Saltash family which was ripped apart in an accident which claimed the life or a mother and her son last week. Laura Hopes, 32, and sons Alfie, six, and Tommy, four, were travelling along the A38 near Landrake on July 9 when they were involved in a five-car collision.
