Hundreds of voters in Plymouth have been left without postal voting forms just days before the General Election. Plymouth City Council says it has reissued "around 370 replacement ballot packs" to those who have contacted them and urged anyone still missing one to call their offices. Two off-duty lifeguards came to the rescue of a body-border was in difficulty in choppy waters off the coast of Padstow. RNLI lifeguard Dan Wickins and lifeboat crew member James Swabey were surfing together at Trevone Bay near Padstow when they spotted the body-border struggling to keep his head above the water in rip currents. Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist died when he crashed into a cow. The fatal collision took place on a rural road near Bideford in the early hours of this morning.
